Alexandra Freeman, LPC, CRC

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Rehabilitative Counselor, I work with a diverse range of clients, including teens and young adults navigating major life transitions and seeking deeper self-understanding. As an expert in both life transitions and elite athletic performance, I bring a unique perspective to supporting individuals facing a variety of pressures and challenges.

Many of the people I work with are struggling with uncertainty about their futures, feeling overwhelmed by the expectations placed on them, and trying to build a stronger sense of independence and identity. They may be dealing with issues like performance anxiety, self-doubt, maximizing performance, and difficulty balancing their responsibilities and personal lives.

In addition to my training in mental health-related areas, I have personal experience as an

Olympic-level track and field athlete, having reached qualifying level for 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials and is preparing for 2028 Trials in the Los Angeles Olympics.

This background allows me to provide specialized support for athletes striving to improve their performance.

Overall, my expertise lies in guiding individuals through significant life transitions and helping them achieve their personal and professional goals, whether that's navigating the challenges of young adulthood or reaching new heights in their athletic pursuits.

Alexandra works with older adolescents, and young adults. She can be reached at (224) 678-9033 or 847-776-4500 and is accepting new client's at this time.
